Services/Rates

Our services include Hand Guided Long-Arm Machine Quilting, Binding and related work along with some embroidery and other sewing services. We also make Custom Quilts to your specifications. It is impossible to list prices that cover all custom quilting services. All rates listed below are subject to adjustment, up or down, for the actual project…. so just give us a quick call or e-mail and we will be happy to try and give you the best service possible at a great price.

Our Basic Rates

1. Simplest “all-over, edge-to-edge” quilting (Includes large meandering):$.0125 per square inch

2. More detailed “all-over” designs and medium to small meandering: $.015 - $.025

3. Stitch-in-the-ditch, outline and more complex patterns: $.02 - $.05

4. Custom Hand Guided designs such as feathers, cross-hatch, etc,: Varies with design

5. Extra charge for borders, turning quilt on machine, etc.: Varies with design

6. Thread changes and special threads: $5.00 - $15.00

7. Binding: (Charges vary according to what you wish done.)

8. Batting and Lining: We normally carry Hobbs 80/20 batting, beached and un-bleached muslin.
We will furnish it to you at reasonable prices or you may send your own favorites.

9. Minimum Charge: Our minimum charge is $35.00

10. Custom Quilts: Price varies according to size, complexity and materials. Call or E-mail

To calculate quilting cost: Multiply (length in inches) X (width in inches) then multiply by rate
Example: 100 x 80=8000 X .0125=100.00

Your total cost will vary according to the exact work done and agreed upon prior to beginning project.

 A “Sunbonnet Sue” quilt that is hand appliquéd by a local quilter who has been doing this pattern and style of quilting since the early part of the last century.

 

Another “T-Shirt” quilt done locally and quilted in the meandering style.

 

A “Nine-Patch” quilt with squares set on point and machine quilted . This Quilt is currently available for sale in our shopping area.
